Reed Malcolm will discuss what it takes to publish your (first) book in Anthro.  He will explain how the publishing process works, provide tips on dissertation revision, offer ideas on how to find the right publisher and submit your materials. He will also dispel some common myths about the process, and describe the current and future state of academic book publishing, including the rise open access book publishing in the humanities and social sciences.
