In this brown bag, I will discuss my experiences as a California community college faculty member and researcher following my graduation from Stanford in 2007. In this informal talk, I’ll discuss the pros and cons associated with teaching at a two-year school, and address some of the misconceptions, stereotypes, and prejudices that persist about pursuing an archaeological career at the community college level.
