Before coming to Stanford, I studied Social Anthropology at the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia (ENAH) and the Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Superiores en Antropología Social (CIESAS-CDMX). In Mexico, I conducted ethnographic research in Durango and Chiapas, focusing on O'dam and Mexicanero oneiric experiences as intersubjective healing practices and the religious treatment of madness among Evangelical Tsotsil. Currently, I am researching the theological work of Protestant and Pentecostal missionaries in Wallmapu, the ancestral territory of the Mapuche people.
