I completed my MPhil degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India in January 2019, in which I explored questions of urbanism—the production of political landscapes and the making of cities. My archaeological research at Warangal, a major imperial capital of medieval South India, looked at how capital cities and their symbolic landscapes play a role in the articulation of institutional power. For my PhD, I intend on continuing my work at Warangal, and focusing on anthropological approaches to space, place, and landscape.
