Mahder Takele Teshome

I completed my undergraduate degree at New York University Shanghai, where I crafted a self-designed honors major called Religion and Language and minored in Hebrew and Judaic studies. My current research explores the role of beauty in human and animal relationships and how it creates sites of knowledge production. My work has the Inyambo, Rwanda’s Royal Cows, at its center.
