Migration, mobility and trafficking, religion and gender, and environmental refugees


Eda Pepi is a Ph.D. candidate in the Culture and Society track. Her research interests include statelessness and citizenship, kinship and gender, and sovereignty and the state in the Middle East and North Africa. Her current research focuses on the relationship between citizenship and kinship in Jordan. Eda has come to these research interests having earned her BA in Government at Harvard and after working with the Social Science Research Council's Migration Program.
