I am interested in the study of transfusion medicine as a site for the modulation of history, statecraft and geography. In the wake of transnational concerns regarding imminent infectious encounters, my particular focus is how scientists, hematologists, social scientists and activists in Canada understand the relationship between race, space, infectious disease, blood and public health. I completed my BA in sociocultural anthropology and MA in the history & philosophy of science at the University of Toronto.

Recent co-authored journal publication: “The Black Androids: A Chrestomathy.”
