My research examines the lived experiences of individuals with mental illness in Eastern Europe. My broader interests concern the mediation of the category of personality disorder, with particular attention to Borderline Personality Disorder, within clinical, social, and cultural theory. Prior to joining Stanford, I completed an MA in Anthropology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
