Duana Fullwiley wins Amaury Talbot Prize for most valuable work of African anthropology

Congratulations to Duana Fullwiley, whose book The Enculturated Gene: Sickle Cell Health Politics and Biological Difference in West Africa , has won the Amaury Talbot Prize for most valuable work of African anthropology. The Royal Anthropological Institute gives this prestigious award annually to the best book in African anthropology published in the previous year.
