GSO Representatives

GSO representatives are volunteer leaders from across the department’s student cohorts and degree tracks. Each representative normally serves for two years.

Aaron Hopes

Aaron is a third-year doctoral candidate in the Culture and Society track, focusing on multispecies ethnography, the anthropology and history of science and technology, religion, theories of modernity, anthropology of the state, vigilantism and communal violence, industrialization of biological life and food-ways; veterinary biotechnology and vigilante cow protection groups in India.
