Please join the Department of Anthropology for an evening gathering with Professor Angela Garcia
She will be discussing her upcoming book “The Way that Leads Among the Lost” and her first book “The Pastoral Clinic: Addiction and Dispossession Along the Rio Grande.”
Moderated by Draven Rane
Angela Garcia is a professor of anthropology at Stanford University. She is the author of The Pastoral Clinic: Addiction and Dispossession Along the Rio Grade and the forthcoming book The Way that Leads Among the Lost.
Draven Rane (’23) BSH | Bioengineering, BAH | Anthropology. Draven currently works with Freedom Forward as a youth advisor for Family & Me, a pilot Bay Area foster care program and intends to work in industry prior to attending graduate school.
