Review Courses

Review Courses are 300-level courses with an ANTHRO subject code taught by Anthropology tenure-line faculty.  The only exceptions are methods or proposal writing courses, which are not considered Review courses.  Each review course is 5 units with a letter grade option, and students must receive a grade of B+ or higher.  To satisfy the department review course requirement, graduate students must enroll in a minimum of six Review courses in the first two years of PhD program.

* These required ANTHRO AR and CS tracks methods courses are intended for Second-year Ph.D. cohort students in the AR and CS tracks. AR track students may choose to enroll in the AR track methods course in the First year of the Ph.D. 

Non-ANTHRO graduate students, ANTHRO First-year Ph.D. students and ANTHRO M.A. students may enroll in the track-specific methods courses with instructor permission and/or with approval from the Graduate Program Committee by Graduate Petition.
